Goodbye Cheltenham!

On 9th January 2019 (coinciding with my 62nd birthday) I left my home with my car full to bursting. That evening I had a lovely meal at the Giggling Squid with some close fellow volunteers from the Red Cross Bookshop where I’d been volunteering every Thursday for over 3 years and local friends Pat, Caroline, Monica, Mary and Malcolm. It really was a super evening and lovely send off. Caroline put me up that night, then I spent two nights with Cherrill, Tony and Anna before embarking upon my first housesit in Kemsing, Kent.
